The answer may surprise you.  You see, corporations don’t use Twitter the same way you and I use Twitter.  They do things differently and get results we can only dream about.

An online form can be put up on the site or the blog where customers have to sign-up and get a free e-book or product in exchange. If this section is informative and entertaining than large number of people would sign up to your newsletter, follow-up emails can also be done easily. Whenever your blog or site is updated, inform your customers via mails and give them information, advice or ideas about it.

Start submitting your article to the article directories. There are many such directories that provide free submission and posting too. If the visitors found your article to be informative and interesting they would try to find out its place of creation which is your website. A link or a brief can be included in the resource box, thus you would get a back link to it.

Experts agree that building a list is essential to earning money online.  The question is, with all the choices out there, “Where is the best place to keep your list?”

There has been a lot of discussion on this topic and although there are several good choices, most people tend to prefer using Aweber.  I’ve used a variety of auto-responders, with varying amounts of success.  I’ve tried auto-responders that came with purchased leads and found that almost none of the emails were read.  I’ve tried installing software on my own server and not only was it difficult to set up properly, it took a lot of time to maintain.  Way too much time to make it worthwhile.

Aweber specializes in doing one thing well- delivering your emails.  If they don’t get delivered, they can’t be read and and your efforts are largely wasted.  Aweber works hard to keep their email deliverability rates the highest in the industry.
