Two marketing masters were in top form today making big marketing pitches.

Steve Jobs introduce the magical and affordable iPad, a new category of computing device.  It was well received and his numbers are at an all time high, as measured by the bottom line of the company.

On the other hand, Barack Obama has seen his numbers going steadily down s measured in personal approval ratings.  He is considered to be a masterful speaker and did great campaigning for his job as President of the United States.  Now that he is on the job, his numbers as measured by the nation’s bottom line have never been worse.  Each American’s share of the national debt is now over $545,000 per person.

What do you see as the connection between marketing skills and the ability to produce results?

Which one to you think did the best job and why?
